A U G U S T Newsletter
If you’re like me, August may seem a bitter sweet month – summer is nearing its end, yet the beauty of fall is tantalizingly close.
“August is the Sunday of summer” – Unknown
August is also known, by the Anglo-Saxons, as ‘weed month’ (and, yes we’re talking about the 5th century inhabitants of Great Britain not current residents of Colorado!). With the hottest days of the year historically occurring in August, plants tend to grow more rapidly, including (unfortunately) weeds! My own garden is evidence that that is not just folklore!!
August is also National Peach month. I love peaches!! So… we are having a GIVE AWAY!
Email us your favorite Peach Recipe with a picture you took of the finished delicious dish or drink, and inspiration for the recipe. The winning recipe will be promoted on our Blog, Newsletter and Social Media!! And, we may even feature you in a short interview 🙂
